As the race for the December 13, 2025 party primaries of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) hots up in Osun State, one of the frontline and preferred aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji has submitted his nomination form at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
The hopeful Oyebamiji went there with political bigwigs and loyal party supporters, who are urging him to come rescue the state with his leadership prowess and political emancipation.
Reporting the development in his X handle, Oyebamiji write:
“Today, in company of my dear wife, Dr. Sekinat Bola-Oyebamiji, political leaders and supporters, I formally submitted my Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the forthcoming governorship primary of our party at the National Secretariat, Abuja.
“Today’s event marks another clear step in my commitment to offer responsible, competent and people-focused leadership to the good people of Osun State.
“I remain confident in my capacity, experience and in our committed supporters to lead our party to victory in the 2026 governorship election. Our resolve is firm, and we are prepared to return the @OfficialAPCNg to government in Osun through unity, strategy and hard work.
“The growing support from our party leaders and stakeholders continues to strengthen my conviction that Osun is ready for a new direction. Their confidence in my vision and consistency is a reminder that leadership is about service, not rhetoric.
“My decision to contest is driven by the need to rescue our state from its current decline and restore purposeful governance. Together, we will chart a new course for Osun, built on progress, stability and accountability.”
