The Management of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) has announced 7th and 8th February, 2025 as date for its 2025 Annual Management Retreat.
According to a press statement issued by
Suleiman Makama, Assistant General Manager, Corporate Affairs of NIWA, the retreat which is to take place at the Conference Hall, Lokoja, Headquarters of the agency has His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy as the Special Guest of Honor. While, Mr Bola Oyebamiji FCIB, Managing Director/CEO of NIWA will be the host.
According to the statement, “the discussions at the retreat will center on the following among others; KPI review for 2024 and outlook for 2025. Revenue performance for 2024 and targets for 2025. Organizational effectiveness, and communication” .
It may be recalled that during the 2024 Performance Bond signing retreat, the Managing Director of NIWA, Mr Bola Oyebamiji said the objective of the retreat is to discuss and have a working template upon which the aspirations of Mr President on Inland Waterways through the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, will be achieved.
This year’s retreat will have the Management and all Area Managers in attendance.
