ANLCA BOT ELECTION: Mukaila Unveils Strategic Campaign Team, Sets up Situation Monitoring Room

A former National Secretary of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) and Board of Trustees hopeful in the September 12th ANLCA Board election, Otunba Abdulazeez Babatunde Mukaila has unveiled his campaign team for the upcoming ANLCA Board of Trustees (BoT) elections.

His campaign team known as “One with God” is expected to develop and implement legitimate electioneering strategies in a bid to ensure his success at the board election of ANLCA .

The ‘One-with-God’ team also has a situation monitoring room to collate the feedback from the geopolitical zones simultaneously during the elections.

However, Mukaila has reiterated that if elected, his candidacy will enshrine professionalism; introduce innovations and transparent leadership guided by strict adherence to constitutional provisions.

As the former ASECO Chairman, former National Secretary/ Interim Administrator, Mukaila has the required leadership and administrative experience to effect positive changes and innovations to move the association forward.

Known for his ICT expertise, he was the first to introduced biometric and online voting in ANLCA. In 2010, he created the first-of-its-kind membership data base and a functional website for the association named www.anlca.com.ng that is being utilized till date.

He also left behind a functional National Secretariat to the present National Executive with all physical structures and facilities intact and several innovative additions.

Mukaila, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Mickey Excellency Nigeria Ltd, has been a licensed agent since 2000 and holds the association’s record as the longest serving Chairman, ANLCA Electoral Commission (ASECO).

Otunba Mukaila is a member Nigeria institute of Shipping, (NIS), Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) among others.

He holds a Master’s degree in Transport Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).
