Otunba, Alhaji Abdulazeez Babatunde Mukaila is the Chief Executive Officer of Mickey Excellency Nigeria Limited, a licensed company by the Board of the Nigeria Customs Service ( NCS) since year 2000.
As a practitioner, he started a career as a freight forwarder in the year 1988, and has worked in different capacities with several Licensed Customs Broker’s companies namely, Abass Integrated Service Nigeria Limited, Rastoy Nigeria Limited, NTee Nigeria Limited, Folorunsho Multiventures investment Limited, Halifax Nigeria Limited among others.
MUKAILA’s SOJOURN IN ANLCA:
Otunba Babatunde Mukaila journey in ANLCA has seen him being and doing the best for the association at various capacities he has served. He started in 1989 as a voter representing Abass Integrated Service in ANLCA processes.
Come 28th Decembe 1999, his Corporate Company was berthed, named Mickey (Mukaila) Excellency Nigeria Limited.
Otunba Abdulazeez Babatunde M. as a member of ANLCA have observed the uncoordinated ways and manners all elections he has participated as a voter in ANLCA has been devoid of any manifesto, programmes or sequence based.
Consequently, he mobilized Apapa Youths to come up with ANLCA Youths Vanguard, Apapa Chapter in the year 2006. He then became the pioneer chairman of the movement.
This movement with office at 21 Wharf Road, Apapa became the integrity test platform for all aspirants seeking elections to Executive Offices in ANLCA Western Zone then, particularly in Apapa Chapter.This platform also became a veritable platform for engagement in freight forwarding and Customs administrations , especially at Apapa command. This feat earned Mukaila an appointment as an interim Secretary of Apapa port Chapter of ANLCA in late 2008.
Done with the interim position, in late 2009, Otunba Mukaila was appointment Chairman Association Electoral Commission (ASECO).
OTUNBA MUKAILA AS THE LONGEST SERVING ASECO CHAIRMAN IN ANLCA :
As a principled and thorough leader who always want the best for ANLCA and working with wonderful set of passionate members of the ASECO committee, he set up a veritable structure built for the ANLCA electoral system.
These include interactive website, valid biometric membership register, restricting each corporate company to participate in a particular Chapter of the Association within the three geopolitical zones.
These structures has remained as a convergence for further innovative digital drives of the Association up till date. Otunba Abdulazeez Babatunde. M remains the longest serving ASECO Chairman in the history of ANLCA from 2009- 2017.
ELECTED AS NATIONAL SECRETARY OF ANLCA:
Come 2018, Mukaila was elected as the National Secretary of Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), a position he held until July, 2023, when he was appointed the Sole Administrator of the Association for just two months to administer the Association through NECOM Electoral process that culminate in the present administration of the present National Executive Committee (NECOM).
He presently serves as Chairman International Relations and Membership Biometrics Committee of ANLCA.
