The Customs Area Controller of the Flagship Command, Apapa, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu PhD fsi, today Tuesday, 25, June showing leadership by example in the fight against drug abuse has taken collaboration with sister agencies a notch higher by participating in the Walk Against Drugs abuse in Commemoration of 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.
The CAC joined the Commander NDLEA, Apapa Special Area Command, and other government agencies in the port to bring awareness on the dangers inherent in drug abuse. The Customs boss noted that such collaboration between sister agencies of government is crucial for intelligence sharing and ensuring public safety.
He further noted that by working together, security agencies can achieve greater success and better protect their communities than they could alone. The Apapa Customs Command, Public Relations Officer, Chief Superintendent of Customs, Usman Abubakar said this in a brief statement to the media.
