The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) have confirmed and released the schedule for its Zonal and National Elections to elect new leaders that will steer the affairs of the association in the next two years.
In a statement released by the Electoral Committee Chairman and outgoing National Treasurer of the Association Dr. Dagunduro Olatokunbo, the National Council, in conjunction with the Board of Trustees, had approved the following dates for the elections:
Lagos Zonal Election is scheduled for 8th February 2024 in Ikeja, Lagos, while the
Eastern Zone will come up on 9th February 2024. Northern Zone will come up on 27th February, and Abuja Zone will be held on the 28th of February. While the grand finale will be Western Zone to be held on the 29th of February, 2024 respectively.
The National Election will be held during the Annual General Meeting ( AGM) of the association in April 2024 in Lagos.
Dagunduro informed that the association is an organized professional association, and he is much hopeful of a peaceful transition of leadership. He stated further that the primary objective of the Susan Akporiaye’s led executive of NANTA is to ensure continuity of good works of the past leaders in NANTA. Dagondoro confirmed that all preparations are set, and results will be released as soon as each Zonal elections are concluded.
