The 2023 World Day for Safety of Journalists is coming up on November 2. The day , among other activities is mark to remember fallen journalists as well as tackle issues of violence against Journalists safety and to safeguard media professionals through a one day free safety symposium.
This year’s World Day for Safety of Journalists will be dealing on: “Online Safety” as a broad theme.
To make the day a worthwhile and memorable, the Management and Board of Media Centre for Promotion of Safety Awareness, MCPOSA, publishers of Safety and Security Watch Magazine is organising a Symposium titled ” 2023 World Day for Safety of Journalists” with the Theme : MITIGATING ONLINE VIOLENCE AGAINST JOURNALISTS.
This year theme is introducing a practical angle to spark up discussions going by the spate of emergencies that claim lives of Journalists that shouldn’t have: So every attendee will be going home with knowledge of FIRST AID and CPR.
