NAGAFF Set to Host AIG, Zone 2, Mohammed Ari Ali

The National Association of Government Freight Forwarders ( NAGAFF) known for building bridges among Stakeholders and Government Agencies is at it again.

The friendly freight forwarding association is set to host a long time friend of the association, Assistant Inspector General of ( AIG), Mohammed Ari Ali, the AIG ZONE 2 , Lagos State.

According to a statement issued by Founder of NAGAFF, Dr Boniface Aniebonam, the senior Police officer will be visiting the NAGAFF Village, Maybin Street Apapa GRA on Tuesday 10th October, 2023.

Dr Aniebonam’s statement reads ” The AIG ZONE 2 of the Nigeria Police, Mohammed Ari Ali shall be visiting NAGAFF Headquarters on an official duty as part of his various engagement with critical stakeholders within his zonal command structure.

“His visit is to deliver the message of hope of the Inspector General of Police inline with the mandate of the President of Nigeria, seeking for collaboration and partnership with Nigerians in the area of community policing.

“His visit shall provide a greater opportunity to freight forwarders to discuss issues related to police operations within his zone.

“It is on record that freight forwarders are not really having a most desired working relationship with police officers along the city roads under his watch in the course of delivering cargo to the owners warehouses immediately out of the customs ports and borders.

“All NAGAFF members and members of our sisters association are duly invited to welcome him and his officers and men, and equally have the opportunity to engage him on mutual conversations.

“Venue is NAGAFF Village , time is 12noon, date is 10th October 2023.”

The NAGAFF founder also invited the media to be part of the historic visit , as according to him , next in line will be the Assistant Comptroller General of Customs (ACG), Zone A.

” So much problem transacting business in the customs ports and borders zone ‘A’ , definitely requires his attention ahead of the CGC visitation to the NAGAFF Headquarters of the foremost freight forwarding association.” the statement concludes .
