The newly elected Western Zone National Coordinator of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Alhaji FEMI ANIFOWOSE has assured all ANLCA members, especially those from the Western Zone, that he will unite all members and collaborate with all stakeholders operating in the Western ports of Lagos and beyond.
Remember that, Alhaji FEMI ANIFOWOSE was recently elected as the National Coordinator, Western Zone of ANLCA in the association ‘s National Executive Committee (NECOM) election held in August.
Speaking with the media during an election victory party for the Western Zone in Apapa, organised by him on Friday, Anifowose assured that ANLCA members will witness a new and vibrant Western Zone under his watch.
He assured that now that the campaign and election is over, is important for all ANLCA members in the zone and all over the country to close ranks and work together for the good and progress of the association and the Freight forwarding industry in general.
Anifowose further assured that, the zone will work closely with government agencies like Customs, Police, SON, NPA, NAFDAC and others to make sure his members have a hitch free operations , as well as generate the needed revenue to government.
The victory party attracted many ANLCA Chieftains from the Western Zone and friends of ANLCA an indication that, there in no more camp or faction as election is over.
Guests were treated to sumptuous meals and drinks as they shake their bodies to the Owambe music from a live band stand at the event.
The Western Zone of ANLCA is regarded as the heartbeat of the Association with 10 chapters namely, Apapa, Tin Can Island, MMAC, MMIA Seme border, PTML, KLT, Ikorodu, Idiroko and Lilypond.
